At Devtier, we are committed to delivering premium, customized software solutions and flexible monthly service offerings tailored to our clients’ unique needs. This Cancellation and Refund Policy outlines our general practices regarding cancellations, subscriptions, trial periods, and refund eligibility.

All custom project engagements are governed by a separate, signed Service Agreement, which contains specific terms that take precedence over this general policy.

1. All Sales Are Final After Trial Period

Unless otherwise specified in a contract or service description, all purchases are final after the trial period (if applicable). By completing a purchase with Devtier, you acknowledge that:

  • You had the opportunity to evaluate the service during any offered trial period.
  • Once the trial period ends, the purchase becomes non-refundable.
  • No refunds will be granted for unused time, partial use, or voluntary cancellations after billing.

2. Subscription Services

Devtier offers monthly, subscription-based services that renew automatically.

  • Billing: Subscriptions are billed in advance on a month-to-month basis.
  • Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription anytime through your account dashboard or by emailing [email protected]. Access will continue through the end of the current billing period.
  • No Refunds: Subscriptions are non-refundable once charged, including for unused portions.

3. Custom Projects and Bespoke Services

For individualized client services, including software development, consulting, and strategic planning, Devtier enters into custom Service Agreements that govern refund terms.

Refund Eligibility

Eligibility depends on the provisions outlined in the signed contract and may consider:

  • Project milestones achieved
  • Percentage of work completed
  • Costs incurred and resources allocated
  • Client adherence to timelines and deliverables

Request Procedure

Refund requests must be submitted in writing to your assigned Devtier representative and must:

  • Reference specific contractual provisions
  • Clearly explain the basis for the request

Review Process

Refunds are reviewed in accordance with the contract and evaluated based on:

  • Project completion level
  • Milestone delivery
  • Documentation and communication history
  • Overall financial impact

Devtier will issue a written decision within the timeframe specified in the client agreement.

4. Exclusions

Unless otherwise stated in your contract, refunds are not available for:

  • Services already rendered or partially completed
  • Customized solutions that are fully or substantially developed
  • Delays or disruptions caused by the client’s actions, inaction, or breach of contract

5. Chargebacks and Billing Disputes

Clients are expected to contact Devtier to resolve billing issues before initiating a chargeback. Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:

  • Service suspension
  • Contract termination
  • Legal action to recover costs

6. Dispute Resolution

Disputes relating to refunds, cancellations, or contractual performance are subject to the dispute resolution clause in your signed Service Agreement. Typically, this includes mediation or arbitration, governed by the laws specified in the contract.

7. Amendments

Devtier reserves the right to update this policy at any time. However, policy updates will not apply retroactively to transactions or contracts already in effect. Clients will be notified in advance of any changes that materially affect their rights.
